Bhakta is the abbess in Travancore who studies medicine along with some of the other nuns and monks. Bhakta is curious about Ismail's theory of medicine and how it differs from the Chinese theory. Unlike Ismail who has preformed a fair number of dissections, Bhakta has done almost none due to the religious ban againt dissections.
